About Us
The Calgary Homestead Community Association was established in 2025 to help build a strong, connected, and welcoming neighbourhood for residents of Homestead and surrounding areas in northeast Calgary.
Our goal is to bring neighbours together, support local initiatives, and create opportunities for residents of all ages to connect, participate, and help shape the future of the community. We believe strong communities are built through involvement, communication, and shared experiences.
As a growing community association, we aim to support local events, community programs, recreational activities, advocacy, and neighbourhood engagement while working alongside residents, volunteers, and the City of Calgary to address community needs and priorities.
Whether you are new to the neighbourhood or a long-time resident, the Calgary Homestead Community Association welcomes you to get involved and help us grow a vibrant and inclusive community.
What Does a Community Association Do?
Community Associations (CAs) are volunteer-driven organizations that work to improve the quality of life within their neighbourhoods. They act as a voice for residents and help strengthen community connections.

- Organizing community events, festivals, and family activities
- Supporting recreational and social programs
- Advocating for neighbourhood concerns and improvements
